About the training
This internal audit training course in how to be an internal auditor will teach you everything you need to know to complete robust system audits, which will protect your business.
The course is made an introduction, 4 units of training and a conclusion. After each unit there is a test which is made up of 25 multiple-choice questions. 70% is required to pass each unit and a certificate will be awarded on successful completion of the course. The test is open book and retakes are free of charge.
On completion of this course, it’s recommended that you go on to complete training courses in the subjects that you’re going to be auditing.
Internal auditor behaviours
Behaviours which are aligned with the culture of the business should underpin every system, including how internal auditors behave. Auditing is a learnt behaviour, which requires auditors to be observant, listen to their instincts, be unbiased, act with integrity, and listen and communicate well. This course explains the behaviours of best practice auditors and how these should be displayed.
Practical auditing
This eLearning is jampacked with practical exercises – taking what you’ve learnt and using it in real-life scenarios.
So, don’t expect to be sitting in front of your screen for the duration of this course – you’ll be flexing your auditing muscles by completing practical-based audits of your own systems and using the documentation provided.
