Worth 3 credits on your training dashboard.
This training is designed for:
Staff who are responsible and accountable for the internal audit programme, and corrective and preventive action system.

On completion of this course, you’ll be able to develop, implement, manage, and monitor the internal audit programme and the non-conformance action system.

You’ll learn how to develop your internal audit risk assessment to determine how often your system audits and GMP inspections must be carried out.

Implementing an effective training programme will ensure the success of your system, so it’s a critical part of this course. Enabling you to develop a competent team of internal auditors, GMP inspectors and staff who’ll be able to perform root cause analysis, and complete and verify corrective and preventive actions.

A great deal of time and resource goes into completing internal audits and managing the close out of non-conformances. Time and resource costs money and so if it’s not adding any value, it’s wasted expense.

An ineffective internal audit programme is also a huge, wasted opportunity. A well-organised and supported internal audit programme, along with a robust non-conformance action system can reduce product waste, complaints and even prevent non-conformances on external audits.

This course will teach you how to build a compliant and robust system, which will ensure that you identify non-conformances and fix them before auditors find them. Less external audit non-conformances means more time to focus on the day job, freeing up more time for improvement.

The internal audit programme and non-conformance action system should be the number one action on every business’ culture plan. It helps to drive the right behaviours and moves businesses from a reactive position to a proactive state of continuous improvement.
