Product development is an aspect of the standard that’s developed every time a new issue is published. Without a good product development process, the product won’t be safe, legal, authentic or to the quality expected by the customer. This can result in processing problems, waste, complaints, incidents and even withdrawals and recalls.
At the heart of a good product development system is a robust procedure. This course explains what the standards expect and what needs to be in that procedure. It also provides a simple structure to product development, using a stage gate process which is expected by retailers.
David Couldrey –
Fantastic little course which really highlights the need to have a multifunctional team at each stage of the process.
Edward Hughes –
A really good course for those who are starting on a journey of learning about product development.
Looking forward to the super courses becoming available as I will be signing up as soon as I can.
Great work from all the team.

Well put together presentation with plenty of information. Put in a way that’s understandable especially alongside the downloadable version which is great to have and look at whenever needed.
Bill Message (verified owner) –
A valuable insight into the changes around BRCGS section 5 for product/packaging development. I found this especially useful to support in the creation of a new procedure to train out to senior members of staff on site. The supporting learning materials are great and can be referred to after the course is completed.

Thanks for your comments Bill, we take alot of effort with our supporting documentation so that learners can use it as a resource after the completion of the elearning – so to have you say this is great as its exactly why we create these – we refer to them too sometimes in the office when we’re discussing topics for compliance amongst ourselves!!
