Continuous improvement

Internal audits and GMP inspections will prevent problems from happening. The non-conforming product, complaints and returns systems handles problems when they do go wrong.  And the non-conformance system corrects and prevents problems. These preventive and reactive activities can seem like very separate systems. This pack brings them together under the one topic of continuous improvement, ensuring that they all work together around the central system of non-conformance management. Get that this aspect of compliant right, and everything else will look after itself.

Root Cause

Root cause analysis

This is now a fundamental aspect in all GFSI recognised schemes and gets more and more focus, every time the standards are updated. This pack provides you with the step-by-step method which we’ve designed specifically for the food industry – Techni-K Smart Analysis. This method allows you to flex the process depending on whether the problem you’re looking to resolve is simple, or complex.

Internal auditing

The purpose of the internal auditing programme is to find the problems, before external auditors do, and before they cause a complaint, non-conforming product (and so waste) or in the worst case – a withdrawal or recall. Finding the problems in your system allows you fix them and so, this system is designed to see internally raised non-conformances as a good thing. A robust non-conformance system then manages them, resolves them and then verifies that they’ve worked. Meaning that you can get on with the day job.
