This course is designed for middle management who are responsible for the compliance of the supplier management system, and management who are accountable for the system.
Upon completion of this course, you’ll know how to build a supplier management system that meets the requirements of the standard.
The course centres around the development and implementation of the procedure, which will control the management of the supplier system.

It provides the foundation of the basic understanding of supplier management and is an introduction to the rest of the training. This allows additional learning to be overlayed, producing a gradual learning experience – preventing the learner from becoming overwhelmed.

About the training
The course includes exercises and takes approx. 80 minutes without breaks.
The test is made up of 25 multiple-choice questions. 70% is required to pass and gain a certificate. The test is open book and retakes are free of charge.
Supplier risk assessment
A process is needed, which can be used to risk assess each supplier. This course provides a process to do this for both material suppliers and operational suppliers.
Implementation using a team approach
Supplier management impacts many departments within a business. This means that a team approach to implementation is needed. This course explains how to build a team and implement the requirements across the business.
