This course is designed for staff who are responsible for the maintenance system who work in the system manager role. It’s also for their accountable manager, so that they understand what they’re accountable for. On completion of this course, you’ll understand the role of the system manager and the responsibilities for compliance.
This course provides clear direction for developing a well-defined maintenance system procedure which is structured to include: the maintenance system core elements, PPM, facility management and project management.
The course includes an action plan based on a team approach, for effective implementation of the maintenance procedure which also includes a training plan for all those involved who will be responsible and accountable for tasks within the system.

About the training
The course includes exercises and takes approx. 70 minutes to complete, without breaks.The test is made up of 25 multiple-choice questions. 70% is required to pass and gain a certificate. The test is open book and retakes are free of charge.

The course focuses on the development of a maintenance system procedure using a team approach to agree the processes of PPM, facility management and project management systems and their related controls.
Roles & responsibilities
The success of the tasks that are established and defined when the procedure is created for the system is a key aspect of this course. A training plan for those in responsible and accountable roles is included for effective implementation and monitoring of the system.
