How Can We Help?
Manually create an improvement action
The ‘Create PRO’ tab lets any user manually create improvement actions.
Improvement actions are for proactive actions. So, that’s any action that isn’t a deviation from the standard.
This means that audIT.app can manage all the actions from your management meetings, morning meetings, and even health and safety near misses.
This also means that all your actions get managed in the same way, assigning it to your team and tracking the outcome couldn’t be simpler.
Let’s take a quick look at how easy it is to add a new improvement action…
Source
First, you select the source of the action from the dropdown, don’t worry if the source of the action isn’t on the list. You can simply select ‘other’, and you’ll get a ‘custom source’ field appear, so you can just type your own source type. An example of this may be a Recommendation that you’ve received.
Raised by
By selecting a user from the ‘raised by’ dropdown we record who has initially raised the improvement action. If someone outside your organisation has raised a recommendation that you are adding, then you would select the user in your organisation who accompanied them.
Date raised
This is followed by a date picker, allowing you to choose a date for when the improvement action was raised.
Assign to
The ‘assign to’ dropdown allows us to pick which person you’d like to assign this specific action to. The person you select from this list will be notified that they have an action once you click the send button.
Due date
The final field in the left column is the due date, which allows you to set a completion date for this action.
Moving on to the right column
Moving on to the right column you can see there’s an ‘action notes’ field, allowing you to add any specific note or instructions to the action.
You can also attach any supporting info to the improvement action in the form of photos, videos, audio or documents.
Just hit send
Once you’ve completed all the information on this page, you can either save or send the action. If you don’t want to send the action yet, to enable you to update it later – click save. When you click to send the action, the system will automatically notify the user you have assigned it to.
