Manually create a non-conformance
From the ‘Create NC’ tab on the home screen, the identifier role can create a non-conformance.

The non-conformance could come from various parts of your business, so there’s a list of sources you can choose from.
So, for example, if your customer service team were creating a NC from a complaint that had been received– they’d select complaint from the source drop-down list.
Then another drop-down list appears, to help you identify the type of complaint, for example a foreign body.
This then displays another drop-down list allowing you to specify the foreign body type.
Raised by
The next field is raised by: Select the name of the user in your organisation who has raised the non-conformance. If someone outside your organisation has raised the non-conformance, then you would select the user in your organisation who accompanied them.
Topic
Before moving onto the notes and evidence area, you must select the topic that the non-conformance relates to. This is linked to users who will be notified once the non-conformance has been created once you’ve finished and sent the non-conformance.

Notes
Here is your notes section, where you can document the specific details about the non-conformance.
Upload evidence
Beneath the notes section, you can upload evidence, which can be images, videos, audio clips, or documents. Note: To make it easy to identify, name what the evidence is – by giving it a title.
Non-conformance grading question
The final part of the page is used to determine the non-conformance grade of minor, major or critical.
Selecting either of the first two options will give you an additional question to answer, to help the system determine the grade of the non-conformance.
Completing the non-conformance
Once you’ve selected all your answers and filled in all the information on this page, hit the save or send button. If you don’t want to send the non-conformance yet, to enable you to update it later – click save.
When you click to send the non-conformance, the system will automatically notify the accountable manager for this specific topic. The accountable manager can then either complete the action or delegate it to another user.
