You won’t see the user in audIT.app until they log in for the first time.

Assigning roles to users on Azure
Single site users
If you want to restrict the user to one site in audIT.app, you need to follow these steps to assign roles to the user.
So let’s say you want assign the roles for Site1 to a particular user.
- Open the audIT.app application which you have installed on Azure, and click on Assign users and groups.

- Click on Add user/group.

- Click on Add User

- Search for the users to whom you want to assign the roles and click the select button.

- Click on Select a role.
- Search “site 1” and select any role.

- After selecting the role, click on the Assign button.

- The role will be assigned to the user.
- When that selected user logs into audIT.app, they will be sent direct to their to-do list.
Note: You can only assign one role to a user at a time. If you want to assign multiple roles related to the same site, you will need to repeat the steps again.

Multi-site users
You can give users access to more than one of your sites, here’s how.
- Open the audIT.app application on Azure and click on Assign users and groups.

- Click on Add user/group.

- Click on User. Search for the users to whom you want to assign the roles and click the select button.

- Search for the role by site, for example type “site 1” and select a role.
- After selecting the role, click on the Assign button.

- Repeat these steps to add any additional roles. Remember to assign the user permission to the sites you want them to access e.g. site 1 and site 2.
- When this user logs in to audiT.app, they will be directed to the multi-site dashboard, so they can select the site they wish to view.
Important Points:
- If you want to downgrade a user from a multi-site user to a single-site user, you will need to keep the roles of the selected site for that user and remove the rest of the roles for that user.
For example, if the user has roles for both site 1 and site 2, and you want the user to have roles for only site 1, then you will need to remove all roles of site 2 for that user.
- If you want to upgrade a user from a single-site user to a multi-site user, you simply need to assign the roles of the new site to that user. For example, if the user has roles for site 1 only and you want to give the roles of site 2 as well, you just need to give the roles for site 2 to that user by following the instructions given above.
