How are the courses assessed?
All of our training online is assessed using multiple-choice questions. There are 25 questions provided in each standard test and you can go back to change your answer during the test if you were unsure about the answer you selected, before you press submit. You can also refer to the digital lesson guide provided in your training dashboard which will supply the answer you are looking for as all of our tests are based on the actual content that has been taught. The aim of our assessment is to provide an environment where the learner feels like they can achieve, we don’t use trick questionning and always encourage learners to check their understanding to find the answer if they need to, as we’re not testing the memory.
How long do I have to take the test – is it timed?
You don’t have a clock ticking when you take the test. You can take as long as you need to, to answer the questions. When you’ve completed the questions, simply click submit.
What happens if the test is failed?
The test can be taken as many times as needed. However, for each time the questions are taken from a bank of thousands, meaning that the learner cannot ‘learn to pass the test’. But rather, has to understand what they’ve learnt to pass the test. Each time the test is attempted this is logged by the system and displayed on the business dashboard. Failed attempts are also communicated through update emails, to alert managers that the learner may need additional support.
Can I see the answers to the test when I have completed it?
Yes, you can see your results immediately, together with the correct answer for any questions you got wrong. Please note, if you fail the test and don’t achieve the minimum of 70%, you’ll not benefit from storing the answers, as our question bank has hundreds of questions that are newly generated each time the test is taken.
How long does it take to get my certificate after completing the course?
On successful completion of the test, a digital certificate is generated immediately by the system. It can be viewed, downloaded and printed.
Do I get a hard copy of my certificate?
No, but you can print your certificate and the system will store it for you, so you can always access it.
What can I do, if my name is spelled incorrectly on my certificate?
Please contact us directly about this. We will need to verify a few details, but can get this sorted out for you.
