Lab results for compliance to environmental monitoring

In this article we’re going to cover the new clause that BRC have added to the 5.6.2 section for lab testing. The new clause 5.6.2.5 now needs us to be able to read lab results, so that we understand them and therefore, can act on them.  Reading lab results reports isn’t easy and we’ve covered this in previous articles, so I thought it would be a good idea for us to go over these previous articles again and link them together for you:

Issue 67: The Key Elements of the Micro Curve

Issue 68: How to read a micro lab report

Issue 70: how to read micro logarithms

These three articles above should really help you to understand lab results on your reports and you should be able to read them with confidence and relay this information to your auditor.

These articles were part of a series of articles, all about microbiology.  If you missed any of them, you can find them all on our micro articles page. You’ll find all of these articles useful when you’re looking to meet the new section for BRC environmental monitoring.
